How did you ever aspire to see the hunts that these big cats make?
For me, the inspiration was driven from the TV channels such as Discovery, National Geographic etc.
I am very excited just at the mention of the the Big Cats! So I took this trip to West and Central India in 2017. And I must say it was by far the best trip of my life. In particular what I loved was the way guides took us to the deepest yet safest corners of the forests to ensure we get a glimpse of the Tigers and the Leopards. But my heat goes out to the majestic Asiatic Lion – my heart skipped many a beats at the Gir Wildlife Sanctuary. And my other favouite was the Kanha National Park which bustles with not just the animals but lovely birds as well. The experince at Tadoba also must not be forgotten! And talking about more things, I was floored by the cuisines and hospitality of each place we stayed. It was just a perfect tour in all sense of the word.

We really enjoyed our BIG CATS of WEST & CENTRAL INDIA’s trip. In particluar I loved our Asiatic Lion Safari at Gir, spotting the big cats in the Kanha National Park. Taboda Wildlife zone was a surprise package since I had read about it only in the papers. All along the tour I really felt well-taken care of right by the drivers to the tour guides to the hotel staff. I wish to convey a heartfelt thanks to the guide who took us through the Pench and Kanha National Parks. His knowledge of Kanha and its animals was extensive. His ability to pick up on tracks and know the habits/patterns of the animals was impressive. It was amazing trip over a very extensive itinerary. Very well planned, executed and managed by the entire team. And I would love to come back to India, this time to spot the big cats in some other region through this same tour operator.
